Form Abandonment Notifications help you capture leads who start but don't complete your QuoteForms. When enabled, you'll receive automated email notifications about abandoned forms, allowing you to follow up quickly and convert more prospects into clients.

What Form Abandonment Emails Look Like

When a lead abandons a QuoteForm, the assigned agent receives an email notification with key details about the prospect. The updated email design includes a direct link to the client's newly created Profile, making it easy to pick up where they left off.

How to Enable Form Abandonment Recovery

  1. Go to QuoteForms and select the form you want to enable abandonment recovery for

  2. Click the Settings (gear icon) for that QuoteForm

  1. Toggle on Enable Form Abandonment Recovery

Setting Email Recipients

Once Form Abandonment Recovery is enabled for your QuoteForm, you can select who receives the abandonment notifications.

When is Form Abandonment triggered?

Form Abandonment Recovery activates when a lead enters the required basic information but doesn't complete the full form or becomes inactive for an extended period.

Required fields to trigger abandonment:

  • First Name

  • Middle Name (optional)

  • Last Name

  • Phone

  • Email

  • Preferred Contact Method

If leads do not complete the form or become inactive for an extended period of time, the Form Abandonment process will start.

What Happens When a Form is Abandoned

  1. Client Profile Created: RiskAdvisor automatically creates a new Client and draft RiskProfile using the information submitted before abandonment

  2. Data Captured: All fields completed by the lead are saved to the Client and RiskProfile, including contact details and any vehicles, drivers, or property information entered

  3. Email Notification Sent: Assigned agents receive the Form Abandonment email with a direct link to the client's profile

Following Up on Abandoned Forms

When you receive a Form Abandonment email:

  1. Click the client's name in the email to open their Profile directly in RiskAdvisor

  2. Review the information they've already provided in the draft RiskProfile

  3. Reach out using their preferred contact method to help them complete the quote

  4. Complete the remaining fields together during your conversation
