Overview
Auto data prefill works better when more household information is available at the time of the pull.
When co-applicant details or additional address information are present, RiskAdvisor uses them to improve the results returned for drivers and vehicles. This means fewer blank fields and less manual entry when you open the RiskProfile.
Where this applies
This behavior applies when pulling auto data from:
RiskProfiles
Custom QuoteForms
Co-applicant details
If a co-applicant is included on the submission, their information is used to improve auto data results for the household.
Relevant co-applicant fields include:
First name
Middle name (if provided)
Last name
Date of birth (if provided)
π‘ More complete co-applicant details produce better results. Partial information may still help but full details are preferred.
Additional addresses
Auto data results can also improve when address information beyond the primary address is available.
Relevant address types include:
Prior addresses
Mailing addresses
Home property addresses
Auto garaging addresses
π‘ Completing address fields when they are known β especially garaging addresses for vehicles stored at a different location β can meaningfully improve results.
Best practices
Add co-applicant details when a second person is on the policy.
Fill in address fields that apply to the household, not just the primary address.
Review prefilled driver and vehicle results before finalizing the RiskProfile.
