Privacy Policy and Disclaimers for QuoteForms

RiskAdvisor lets agency admins show a privacy policy link, a terms link, and a TCPA disclosure on your QuoteForms. You can also add a separate, optional checkbox for SMS marketing consent. This helps you meet compliance requirements without forcing prospects to opt in to texts before they can get a quote.
Only users with Account Owner or Admin privileges can configure these settings.
Set up consent on your QuoteForms
1. Go to Settings
Log into your RiskAdvisor account.
Click your agency name dropdown at the top right.
Select Settings.
2. Open the Agency tab
Inside Settings, click the Agency tab.
3. Add your Privacy Policy URL
Paste the full URL of your agency's privacy policy into the Privacy Policy URL field. Make sure it starts with https:// and is publicly accessible.
4. Add your Terms & Conditions URL
Paste your terms URL into the Terms & Conditions URL field. This field is optional. If you leave it blank, the terms link will not appear on your forms.
5. Turn on consent display
Check Display 'Consent to Text' in QuoteForms. This activates the consent block at the bottom of your QuoteForms.
6. Enter your TCPA Disclosure Text
This text is always shown above the submit button. It tells the prospect that submitting the form implies contact consent, and that consent is not required to get a quote. RiskAdvisor preloads standard language. Edit it to match your agency's approved wording.
7. Choose your Consent Display Style
Pick one:
TCPA disclosure only shows the disclosure block above the submit button. There is no checkbox, so the prospect can submit without any extra action.
TCPA disclosure + SMS marketing checkbox adds a separate opt-in checkbox for SMS marketing consent below the disclosure. This is recommended for A2P/10DLC compliance.
8. Enter your SMS Checkbox Text
This field appears when you choose the SMS marketing checkbox option. The text shows next to the "I agree" checkbox. Use it to describe your SMS marketing program, message frequency, opt-out instructions, and a link to your privacy policy.
9. Preview and save
Click PREVIEW IN QUOTEFORM to see how the consent block looks to prospects. Then save your settings.
Using placeholders in your consent text
Both text fields support these placeholders:
{{agency_name}}inserts your agency name.{{privacy_policy_link}}and{{terms_link}}insert a link labeled "Privacy Policy" or "Terms of Use." These are recommended.{{privacy_policy_url}}and{{terms_url}}insert a link that shows the full URL as its text.
Plain text and line breaks are supported. Markdown, such as **bold** or [text](url), is not.
If your agency name is in ALL CAPS, it will display in all caps inside the consent text.
Which display style should I use?
Use TCPA disclosure only when you need to show required disclosure language but do not want to ask prospects to check a box.
Use TCPA disclosure + SMS marketing checkbox when you are running an SMS marketing program and need a separate, documented opt-in for A2P/10DLC.
Do not use the SMS marketing checkbox to make consent a condition of getting a quote. The disclosure already states that consent is not required. Confirm your consent language with your compliance team before publishing.
Final checklist
Before you save:
Confirm your Privacy Policy URL is accurate and publicly accessible.
Add your Terms URL if your agency requires it.
Review your TCPA Disclosure Text.
If you use the SMS checkbox, review your SMS Checkbox Text.
Preview the form to confirm the consent block reads the way you expect.
