<details class="details"><summary>What Happens When I Send Someone a PolicyLink?</summary><div data-type="detailsContent">When you send a PolicyLink to a client, RiskAdvisor takes care of the backend work for you — turning that connection into a structured profile without requiring any manual entry.<h3 id="y4ax14f1sw3" data-toc-id="y4ax14f1sw3">✅ What Happens When a Client Uses the PolicyLink</h3><ol><li>A Client Profile Is Automatically Created As soon as the client clicks the PolicyLink and successfully logs into their current carrier portal, RiskAdvisor creates a Client Profile in your account. </li><li>Policy Documents Are Pulled In Once the connection is successful, any available policy documents are added to the client profile automatically under the Policy &amp; Dec Pages tab. </li><li>A Risk Profile May Be Automatically Created If full policy data is received:<ul><li>Within 5 minutes of the PolicyLink being used, and no draft Risk Profile exists yet, RiskAdvisor will create a Risk Profile automatically.</li><li>If full data is received before the agent starts a draft Risk Profile, we’ll create the Risk Profile then.</li><li>If a draft already exists, the new data will be added to that profile.</li><li>If the Risk Profile has already been submitted, a new Risk Profile will be created to preserve the integrity of the original submission.</li></ul></li></ol><h3 id="l5ef1me55xl" data-toc-id="l5ef1me55xl">🧠 Does the Client Need to Submit Anything?</h3>No. The only action required from the client is logging into their carrier account via the PolicyLink. Once authenticated, RiskAdvisor handles the rest — including profile creation, document import, and risk profile generation (when possible).</div></details>
