RiskAdvisor now allows agency admins to display a privacy policy link and a disclaimer/consent statement directly on your QuoteForms. This helps ensure compliance and builds trust with your clients.

Only users with Account Owner or Admin privileges can configure these settings.

Steps to enable Privacy Policy and Disclaimer

1. Go to Settings

  • Log into your RiskAdvisor account.

  • Click on your agency name dropdown at the top right.

  • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

2. Access the Agency Tab

  • Inside Settings, click on the Agency tab.

3. Privacy Policy URL

Paste the full URL of your agency's privacy policy into the Privacy Policy URL field. This link will appear in your consent text and display on your QuoteForms.

Make sure the URL starts with https:// and is publicly accessible.

4. Terms and Conditions URL (New)

You can now add a separate Terms & Conditions URL. This field accepts any valid https:// URL up to 2,048 characters.

When filled in, the {{terms_url}} placeholder in your consent text will automatically display your terms link to prospects.

This field is optional. If left blank, the terms placeholder will not appear on your forms.

5. Enable the Disclaimer Consent Text

  • Check the box labeled "Display consent text in QuoteForms".

  • This will activate a legal consent message that appears at the bottom of your QuoteForms.

  • Choose your display style as “Informational Notice Only” or “require checkbox” to require your clients to acknowledge the text consent.

Here’s what it will look like on QuoteForms when a required checkbox is selected:

About the Consent Text

RiskAdvisor preloads a standard legal message like:

“By submitting this form, you agree to {{agency_name}}'s Privacy Policy and terms. You consent to being contacted...”

  • The placeholder text automatically pulls in your agency name.

  • ⚠️ Note: If your agency name is written in ALL CAPS, it will also display in all caps within the disclaimer.

Final Checklist

Before saving your settings:

  • Confirm your Privacy Policy URL is accurate and publicly accessible.

  • Add your Terms URL if your agency requires it.

  • Review the consent text preview to confirm it reflects your agency's language.

  • Select the consent display style that matches your compliance needs.
